Clownfish Breeding Age and Food questions - Friday, March 22, 2013 3:56 PM

I was wondering how old a pair of A. Ocellaris need to be before they start breeding. I have a pair that are around 10 months old, and was wondering when I could expect them to start breeding. They are a definite pair.
I also have an adult pair of clownfish that bred a lot last year, but when I cut down their food they stopped laying eggs. They are 5 years old, and I was wondering if I add more food to their diet, will they start breeding again.

Thanks

Glad to know, will feeding the 10 month pair more speed up how it will take them to mature, or will it be 2-3 years no matter what.

My pair of Os started spawning earlier than usual, somewhere around 14-18 months.  I don't know exactly because I'm estimating their age based on when the previous owner bought them, and the likely age they would have been when ORA shipped them to the LFS.
