MBI Chat Features

The MBI has two chat features available for everyone to use! The most common one is Public, or Group, chat. At the bottom right side of any page you will see two boxes. One says "Chat Active" and the other says "Friends". The "Friends" box will show you how many of your friends are online. The "Chat Active" box will show you how many people are currently using group chat. 
 
If you click on the "Chat Active" button a chat box will appear. After opening the chat box you can detach it by simply clicking on the arrow at the top of the box. This will make it much easier to change pages while keeping the chat box open. Group chat is a great place to hang out and talk fish stuff in real time.
 
The other chat option is private chat. This can be used to have a private conversation with another user.  To start a private chat, open up the friends list and click on the icon on the far right across from the name of the person you want to chat with.
