What is the difference between Fire and Cinnamon clowns?

They both share the same species name but one has a stripe and one doesn't. Any difference?

As far as I know, same genus but not the same species. What is commonly sold as Fire clown is Amphiprion ephippium while Cinnamon clowns are Amphiprion melanopus. Tal, that link is for the confusion between barberi and rubrocinctus, isn't it ?

Common names can mess things up, argh.

Common names can mess things up, argh. +1 on the hate of common names. lol Adam, not that this solves the problem but, I just added "fire clownfish" as a common name for A. ephippium too and kept that for A. melanopus as Fishbase.org uses it as a common name on their species page. Now both species come up if you search for "fire". Tell us if you pass by something else that is confusing.
