LF: Picasso Clown - Friday, April 12, 2013 10:54 AM
I'm looking for someone closer to the US/Canada border who breeds Picasso's.. I'm looking for a new smaller clown for my breeding adventures.

So basically if you're successfully breeding Picasso's... shoot me a PM or reply here and we can chat about some options!

I live in Idaho Falls, Idaho but haven't been successful yet.  That, and my supposedely picasso clowns don't really look like picasso.  (They were given to me to breed from a guy that was breaking down his tank and wanted them to go to a good use).

Got any pictures? Are they spawning at least?

Sigh, no, that's the problem.  They just hang out in the flower pot together.

I'll try to take a picture tonight when I get home.  I might just call the guy and see what his source was so I can track it that way.  Do they sometimes have the genes and just not the coloration?

From my understanding thus far, each clown has the ability to produce the respective genetics that we know today.. But the chances of producing some if they don't show the characteristics is slim. If one is a Picasso, with shown traits, it shall produce Picasso's. But if it's paired with a regular, you'll get regular and Picasso's.

A friend of mine has some picassos now, but we are in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.  Close to the US/CA border but a bit east of you.
