need help with eggs??

hi everyone my clowns laid eggs and i had to leave town for work my wife was trying to hatch the eggs for me and i think she messed up she put RG Complete and rotifers in the hatch tank lastnight before the eggs hatched and they did not hatch lastnight she says the eggs are not silver anymore would this kill the eggs?? i am not sure tonight is the 8th night i guess i will see if they hatch tonight but i am not holding my breath lol any help would be apricated thanks

What did the eggs look like? If they are cloudy they probably were not aerated properly. RG wouldn't kill them off lack of air would.

I don't add greenwater or rotifers until the next day as I find the greenwater does affect hatching by leading to fungus. Hatching without greenwater I don't get fungus. I am no expert though, so don't take this as gospel.

Thanks guys the eggs didn't hatch so something happened oh well next time I guess the eggs where fine when she moved them they where silver and I had an air stone under them not enough air or fungus lesson learned she will now next time if I am not there thanks again

Not sure I will ask her I think eggs where on the side air in the middle of pot why would that hurt them

ok so i got home a few hours ago and this sa,e pair of clowns already laid a new clutch of eggs is this normal for them to lay eggs again so quick?? and can the air bubbles not touch the eggs?? thanks for any help

That is normal. And you want the air bubbles to be vigorously moving the eggs.
