Species description:  Cyclopoid copepod

Culturing Vessel Details
Salinity:  1.022 
Temperature: Room temperature (70-80F)  
pH:  Not measured

Vessel description: 4L water pitcher
Lighting description:  Ambient
Lighting cycle:  Sunrise to sunset, and/or when culture station lights are on
Aeration description: Continuous bubble 

Methodologies
Split methodology: When the culture seems dense, I dump 3/4 into a sieve and replace with sterilized ASW from the broodstock tank

Culture medium description:  When clear, the culture is given Tetraselmis, Isochrysis, or Chaetoceros to tint the water, typically 30 to 50mL every other day.

This culture was actually started a month, maybe two ago, but I can't remember the actual date.  These are tough pods, and quite easy to culture (so far at least), and are pretty forgiving.

Update on this culture. I now have three containers going, two that were recently restarted and relatively "young." I feed live phyto (isochrysis, tetraselmis, or chaetoceros) as its available. Sometimes this is once a day, sometimes it's once a week. These guys don't seem too picky.
