its been seven days now, my male copperbanded cardinal has been holding eggs. I have a grow out tank ready to go, but how should I go about getting the youngins into the tank. should I try to catch the male and move him into the grow out tank until he releases them?  wont he drop them once the net starts chasing him?

advice/ opinions welcome!

I'm not sure about Copperband Cards but my male Banggai usually wouldn't spit them until I got him in the net and then into the larval tank. Keep in mind that my pair was in my sump with lots of live rock that had to be moved to get him out but that didn't seem to stress him to the point of spitting or swallowing.
