Breeding Journal DataSheet This first post should be updated regularly to include new information as events take place or changes are made to your system General Species: Pseudochromis dilectus (Dilectus Dottyback) Social Structure: Mated Pair Size of Individuals: Male 3" , Female 2" Age of Individuals: unknown, both were juveniles when acquired and have been in my possession for 11 months Date added to Tank: 8/15/2012 Broodstock Tank Details Size of Tank: 34 Gallon Red Sea Max Substrate Details: Bare bottom except for a few pieces of small rubble rock Filtration Details: Live Rock, Red Sea Prizm Skimmer, Caulerpa Prolifera Water Changes: 4 gallons 1x a month Water Temperature: 78° Lighting: Standard Red Sea Max T5 lighting Lighting Cycle: 10 hours - on at 3pm, off at 1am Other Tank Inhabitants: Blue Leg Hermit Crabs Broodstock Feeding Details Food Types: Varies - Frozen: mysis, squid, krill, blood worms, cyclops-eze, rod's food, spirulina enriched brine shrimp. Dry: Varies between NLS, OSI, Omega One, Prime Reef Flakes. Thanks Matt! Well no pix tonight, I didn't have the DSLR battery charged so I used the cell phone. Was able to take a video, the male is not camera shy, however the female is. I also need to scrape the algae which might improve the images. I did notice today the female has much more yellow on her than usual, also her stomach is getting larger.

Not really Mindy. They are both still alive. I had to separate them again 6 months ago. The female is finally well enough to be released back into the tank.
