Social Structure:  Pair 
Size of Individuals:  female 5", male 2.5"

Substrate Details:  Fiji Pink 3" 
Filtration Details:  40g sump with skimmer and GFO/Carbon reactor
Water Changes:  20g every two weeks
Water Temperature:  79 degrees
Lighting:  3 Reefbreeder 120w LED's 
Lighting Cycle:   7:30am sunrise, peak at 1:30pm, sunset at 7:30pm, moon lights till midnight

Food Types:  New Life Spectrum Thera A, home made fish food, Julian Sprung's Sea Veggies, Green Sheet, 30 grams 
Feeding Schedule:  twice a day pellet, once every other day meaty home made fish food, 1 a day 1 sheet of sea weed 30 grams

Larval Feeding Details
Food Types:  Rotifers (and T. californicus naupli and immature stages that pass through a 180 um screen but retained by a 53 um screen) fed RG+ first 5 days, addition of NHBBS on day 7, addition of TDO size A on day 6 (fed first once daily, second day twice daily and third day on (8th day post-hatch) multiple times per day)  Also used rotigreen omega twice daily during the first 5 days at 0.75 to 1.5 ml/5 gallons tank water.
Feeding Schedule:  As needed, usually 2-3 days per day during first 5 days, more frequent once TDO is fed.

Metamorphosis/Settlement
Date of Settlement Start:  Morning of Aug 20 first fry with white stripe across head.  By late afternoon there were a total of 3 to 5 with the stripe.
Days after Hatch:  8
Date of Settlement End:  Aug 24, 2013
Description of Fry:  Fry seem to darken and lengthen just before settlement, then a light area develops in the sides close to the head, and this will meet in the middle to form the first head stripe.

Here they are again at 5 days old.  They have gotten larger but other wise look unchanged.  The next pictures will be of them at settlement.

I can't believe how early these maroon clowns develop their stripes.  Here they are at 11 days old and some of them already have all 3 stripes.  There are still a couple more that need to get their first stripes so this is still not the end of settlement, but some started to settle about 3 days ago.

These are now at 18 days post hatch and look just like mini-maroons, and acting like them as well, very territorial.
