could this little guy turn out to be an extreme mis-bar?  he is 91 days old and a bout 2cm (just under a inch) anyway im going to keep him as a future breeder

I would say yes on the head stripe. My experience was that the head stripes always came in full and normal on mine where the other two would develop in different ways and timelines.
