Got these snails earlier this month and currently think they are C. atratum, although I still want to do some work looking into the different Florida species to make sure. A couple of the adults: The egg string: Today I pulled the egg string off with a blade and a turkey baster and put it in a small container (~500mL). I had thought that they were spawned several days ago, but just realized that it was only yesterday, so I probably yanked the string out way too soon. Oh well, we'll see if it hatches!

There was a hatch sometime between yesterday and this morning. I was gone all day yesterday and didnt look at the container until this morning so I can't say exactly when. I moved the veligers to a 1L plastic bottle and added some chaetoceros and nanno, just enough to tint the water slightly. Here are some pics:
