Hello everyone, I´m new here and hope I can lern from you and hopefully I can offer some of my short experience.
I have a few new pair that started spawning 1/2 month ago. I do not collect fist batches because there are not many eggs and quality is not the best. 2 weeks ago I tried to start breeding them and I found new problems...
pair #1: Maroons One of them is large with dark colour and the other is medium with bright colours. I´ve bought both of them from reef hobbists.
Egg batches are getting bigger but they do not develop, probably infertile.
I gues they are both female or the large one is very old and can´t breed anymore.
Pair #2: Picassos One large but not old and the other medium.
Last batch was small but developed well (around 30/40 eggs). All of them died the first night.
I gues I should improve parents nutrition. i added an auto feeder to feed them while I´m not home.
What do you think? Any advaise is well received!!
Regards,
Julio
