I pulled the pot lastnight for the 11/30/2013 spawn.  About 5 of the 50 hatched lastnight on 12/08/2013.  I'm averaging 5-20 fry per hatch.  Definitely barely squeezing any out.  Not sure what the deal is but of the ones that I'm getting none have any anomalies and they are producing about 40-50% super grades witch white connecting bars, 20-30% normal snow onyx pattern and about 20-30% normal hybrids.

My oldest batch is at about 4 months of age.  The super grades have lots of blue in them as well.  Very pretty fish.

Snow Onyx (some nice premiums too, they are also producing regulars and then regular hybrids without snow onyx markings)

The babies...

There are some in other clutches that have the buckshot pattern like the father but we couldn't catch any pics. Really anxious to see how their patterns continue to develop.

New nest lastnight 12/26/2013
12/20/2013 hatched nest is now 7 days old and doing great.

*I have made some changes with my live foods and now culture harpacticoid copepods with my rotifers. Once the larvae hit 4-6 days post hatch I can see them eat the copepods from the glass. I have been able to keep a stable culture of both rotifers and harpacticoid copepods in two 20gal brute trashcans with lids, rigid airline and rotifer floss with daily harvesting and water changes once a week (syphon bottom out during water change).

You can see the copepods on the glass...

This pair has still been producing for me and has yet to take a break.

Check out the nice thick blue lines coming in on the snow onyx as they mature... pretty sweet

These fish get darker as they grow. ..which makes me pleased so that it will be easier to tell that the ones without the snow onyx pattern are hybrids.
