I just got a wild pair of white strip maroon clowns. The female is 3-3.5" but the male is only about an inch maybe a tad bit more. They are definitely a pair, shipped together in the same bag and wont leave each others side but is he large enough to breed? I know shes ready to go but is it going to take a while to be ready?
Thanks
Andrew

I'd bet he's ready. That being said it might take them awhile to start laying after being shipped. Both of my maroon pairs have been what you describe and both successfully reproduced.

Agreed. Males become sexually active much quicker than females. Plan a vacation and they'll be sure to spawn before you leave.
