Monday, February 3, 2014 8:45 AM (permalink) 0 So, I peeked into my LFS peppermint shrimp tank and found that for the first time since I began paying attention, some of the peppermints were not L. boggessi!  I have five so far, and may go back and grab a few more if they still have some.   Pepp #1:   Pepp #2   Pepp #3   Pepp #4   Pepp #5   I know the lighting in the fifth pic is a bit different. Monday, February 3, 2014 1:23 PM (permalink) 0 And I think that may be one of the issues I'm running into.  Some have great color and some look...faded.  But the ID paper has a species that has a more general faded looking color that has similar banding patterns to a more brightly colored species...so perhaps I will need to wait a week or more, feed them lots and lots, and then try more pics for ID.  I am pretty sure #3 is L. pederseni and #5 looks like L. wurdemanni...but....   #6 namal Total Posts : 1 Scores: 0 Reward points : 21 Joined: 10/10/2014 Location: denmark, FL, US Status: offline MBI: 0 Pnts MBI Site: Marine Aquarium and Reef Society of Houston Re:Let's ID some pepps! Friday, October 10, 2014 6:28 AM (permalink) 0 I just looked at some of my emerald larvae under my scope. I'm in day 3, and I pulled two that looked white-ish (I thought they may acually be dead ones) and one darker one. Under the scope I found that the two whiter ones were zoea two and the darker one was still zoea one.
