Multiple Nests from Single Pair

Has anyone had clowns lay a new nest of eggs before the previous nest has hatched? I have just had my Amphiprion ephippium pair in my reef tank, lay a new nest on the day that the old nest hatched (eg. new nest laid 2-4pm day yesterday, old nest hatched 10pm last night). My other pairs have always had a few days between hatches and laying a new nest (2-3 days). The eggs that hatched last night were laid on the 2/19/2014 and hatched 2/28/2014. edit: This is a young pair, and this was their 5th and 6th batch of eggs, both nests were of a good size and respectively were the largest nests from them so far. It doesn't seem to be an issue, just unusual so I though I would ask if anyone else has experienced it.

I haven't had my pairs spawn that close together.

I happened to my A. frenatus pair too. Not that often but there were a few times I could see 2 nests the day of the hatch.

My Premnas biaculeatus pair lay eggs every 8 days, in winter I drop the tank temps down to 26c, at that temp the eggs take 9 days to hatch, so they lay the new eggs right beside the old ones.

I've got a young pair that lays every 10 days. It's happened before that the eggs have not hatched yet the day before the next nest is due and the eggs got eaten during the cleaning frenzy that occurs the day before a spawn.

I had a pair that was fostering eggs, spawn day of hatch. It wasn't a trigger, I just wanted to raise these eggs, so I put the eggs with parents who wouldn't eat them! Unfortunately, i had to put the newly laid eggs in my hatching tub. Hopefully the pair will accept them when I move them back.
