Anyone ever try doing this? I want to try and do this to feed the leopard wrasses in my reef. Anyone have recommendations?

I would do a small test first to make sure that the cells don't just burst when you freeze.  I'm not sure if it would be better to flash freeze or to slowly stepwise decrease temperature.  I would think shock freezing/flash freezing would be better to limit formation of ice crystals that would puncture/destroy intact cells.

This recommends shock freezing as well.
