Clarkii pair. Also, ♀ WS maroon (png?). ♂ melanistic clarkii. Pricing Q's?

Ok guys need to know some pricing for these fish I have. One solid spawning pair, the others are miscellaneous other non breeders.
 
They were sold to me bottom dollar from a reefing buddy and they are now awesome spawners but my space isn't allowing me to keep as many pairs as I would like. (especially the larger fish)... so I'm looking to sell these to better utilize my space for my smaller fish. 
 
 
This pair are wild caught maldivian clarkii... and are proven stable breeders. Typically every 14-15 days they lay nice big ol' nests. What do you think I should ask for them?
 
 
Also I have a white stripe maroon, she's got some beautiful colors and a nice shape to her. I think she is a png but I have no concrete proof of this. She's never been paired up with anything else, so can't call her a proven breeder, or even bonded.  She's a good 3.5" now and still growing! lol. Just not sure where to price her at. 
 
 
 
and lastly my odd ball male melanistic clarkii. lol. He came in with my other two clarkii's but was just a third wheel trying to compete with the other male but had to be separated soon there after. He's around 2.5-3" currently and has some pretty awesome looks too... price suggestions?
 

 

 

I might be interested in the Clarkii pair if the price is right, just to try something else I haven't done yet.  SIDE NOTE - since I'm interested in them, it's not right for me to suggest a price; I'm biased. I'll let others do that. 
 
The nice part for us is that with you in Ames, you can use SpeeDee delivery and they'll get here overnight for practically nothing.  I didn't see an agent or walk-in option for you there, but you might be able to do a pick-up (has to be scheduled, ads like $5 to the shipping cost).

I like that you have provenance on those Clarkii - can I ask where you got them from (or where your friend got them from) that we know, with certainty, Maldives is correct?

Hey Matt the friend I got them from had one of our lfs special order them in for his tank. (at least this is what I was told). I've asked for paperwork or a way to verify, but never have been able to get ahold of that. So, most unfortunately I really can't confirm anything further than that. They along with the little melanistic clarkii came to me together as a trio. But the third wheel got the better of him, and I quickly separated.
 
I haven't ever shipped before, and really would hesitate to do so... but I can certainly look into it a bit. 

Well, if you know what the LFS was, the story could be back-checked pretty easily, particularly if it was a special order.  If they even simply knew what wholesaler they came from, even better, although they probably wouldn't want to disclose that info.

If Matt doesn't want them, I do.

I have been working on the back tracking the clowns for a while now, and still not making much headway. But I can keep pestering! lol  
 
Love that both of you are interested in them, still not overly keen on shipping however. Would love to try and sell locally... but really don't know what to ask for them.

Since no one has weighed in, I went and did some digging to find impartial 3rd party references rather than say what I think I (or Kathy) should pay.  Now you have some "comps" and from there, I presume you can come up with your asking price.

So there's the range after a couple google searches (black clarkiis that are true breeding are different...eg. australians).  What I was surprised to see was how low the range went.

As far as pricing goes I am seeing a pretty wide range, I had initially thought around $150-200 for the pair, so I don't think I was too far off at all. I do however want to offer them to my local reef club first, as this is less stress on the fish (transportation) and I will still get the benefit of seeing them now and again (selfish on my part, I know! lol.) Though if I can't sell them locally within a reasonable amount of time I will ship. 
 
I am thinking anywhere between $30-60 each for the other clarkii, and maroon... do those seem fair to you guys as breeder size? 
 
 

I know you wanted to sell these local if you can, just wondering if they are still available? I'm pretty close to next door neighbors with Matt Pedersen and wanted to throw it out there that I as well as him (I'm sure) are still ingerested if they are still around.

Yes they are... But I've been traveling these last couple of weeks... And now I'm out at MBI right now. I haven't been able to really push a sale on them. One local guy is coming to check them out this Monday (after I get back from MBI)... If he doesn't take them I'll look to ship them.

Hope travels back went well...any verdict?
