The initial culture greened up, but within a day, some crashed out, but some remained in suspension.  This culture then took off and made a nice bright green stock, which I just split yesterday 7/28/2014.  This seems to be a theme with my cultures, they grow a little, nearly die, and the survivors adapt to my culturing ways, and thrive very well, thank you.  I'll see if I can get microscopic pix.  It is a large cell algae, as it almost looked like rotifers as it got greener and greener.  It's a beautiful color! I've been culturing brown too long.
