Species description:  A motile unicellular brown microalgae.

Culturing Vessel Details
Salinity: 1.016
Temperature: 77.0°F - 79.0°F  
pH:  Not monitored.

Vessel description:  500ml/2000ml Erlenmeyer flask. Sterilized with autoclave at 273°f for four minutes. Covered with aluminum foil and rubber banded in place. Flexible airline with glass tip for consistent bubble size inserted through aluminum foil for aeration.
Lighting description:  15 watt T8 22" Grow light.
Lighting cycle: 15 hours lights ON / 6 hours light OFF.  
Aeration description: Two to three bubbles per second. 

Methodologies
Split methodology: 500ml of dense culture is used to inoculate a new flask, while the remainder of the culture is used as diet for multiple zooplankton species. 

Culture medium description: Half a ml of f/2 is added to 1000ml of freshly mixed salt water, that has been aged for 24 hours and autoclaved at 250°F for 30 minutes.

9/3/14 - 250ml of T-Iso arrived from seahorse source, the order actually came a day earlier than anticipated which resulted with me having less prepared media than ideal.  Three cultures started from this order (from left to right culture A, B, C) with varying amounts of culture and media.
Culture A (Left flask): 1380ml media, 120 culture, 1ml F/2
Culture B (Middle flask): 1380ml media, 120 culture, 1ml F/2
Culture C (Right flask): 335ml media, 65 culture, 1ml F/2
