It has been a week and a half and both fish are swimming together and not tearing each other shreds. If they are close in size you have more risk but they could be good. No fin damage. I haven't seen any aggressive behavior. The small one is about a inch and half. And the larger one is about 2.5 inches. But the small males stripes are turning gold. And the sticker said white stripe maroon. I guess they they mis labeled there fish. There is nothing saying you can't sell the offspring. Focus on the experience of the process at the time being. It could still be months, years even before they spawn. You have time to figure out a plan but maroons are a hard sell anyways. The male looks like the stripe on his head is starting to show some gold. Im not sure how the color changes look as it comes in. These guys were my first maroons I paired.
