I had my first one die today. It wouldn't eat like the rest of them. It was also half the size of the others

Very nice! They all look great. I always love it when they finally figure out that we are the source of their food, and come running up when we approach the tank. Keep up the good work!

Thank you, They are my first marine babies. It didn't take long for them to figure out where the food comes from.

Bad news I had to leave for a week and my wife tried everything she could to try to take care of the little ones. bless her heart. But by the time I came home. I went from 15 down to 1. And when I arrived home after work today I lost my last one.

Sad to hear.

The good news is that once they start they will generally keep going for a while so you should have another opportunity in a few weeks.

Keep it up!  The more you can raise successfully, the better as they might be going on the ESA's threatened species list!

I pulled 9 more babies for my young male. I fed them rotifers for 2 days, then switched to BBS for 3 days and then to TDO. These little guys took right to the TDO. I will do the same for the next batch to see if the transition to TDO is as easy as this one. The first batch that took to the TDO started to grow a lot faster and I have not lost a Banggai since.

Nice job.  I always struggled getting mine onto TDO.  That's awesome to have them on dry food in 5 days!
