Species:  Pterapogon Kauderni
Social Structure:  schooling though mine have paired 2 large hang out and 2 small hangout
Size of Individuals:  1 1/2 " excluding long fins
Age of Individuals:  unknown, captive bred but medium when purchased
Date added to Tank:  10/12/2014

Broodstock Tank Details
Size of Tank:  120 gallon display / breeding tank
Substrate Details:  2" sand bed
Filtration Details:  Tunze skimmer, lots of macro algae, live rock, refugium
Water Changes:  sporatic and small,  20 gallons every other month

Lighting:  bright LED reef lighting (grows montipora)

Other Tank Inhabitants:  2 yellow tangs, 3 sharknose gobies, 2 pink skunk clowns, 2 mandarins, 1 six line wrasse, 4 banggai, 4 peppermint shrimp, 2 cleaner shrimp, misc live rock creatures and snails

Food Types:  copepods in tank, amphipods in tank, daily with frozen brine, sometimes mysid, cod eggs, some live brine occasionally

Miscellaneous Information: 
My plan was to breed banggai but I was unprepared for the 1st spawn as I was still trying to get my new tank settled.  I really thought my sharknose gobies were going to be the 1st spawn.

Well I received my Prazipro today as I'm sure my DT has flukes.  I gut loaded some live brine.  I am not sure but I think I saw him eating, so it might be over.  I was worried about the prazipro anyway.  I'll gear up for next month.  I am also going try to watch him closely because with 4 of them sometimes I get them confused so maybe he isn't eating.

Hi Kizanne, my young male eats the eggs within the same day. My other male is 6 to8 months older and holds them until day 22 with no problem. Just make sure you keep him fed well so he doesn't go into the next round to thin. Good luck
