Picture of spawning pair.

Pictures of spawning event.  Eggs laid at the base of goniopora coral.

Thanks.
I use a Sony NEX-3N; a nice camera that isn't an expensive DSLR.

Finally, the eggs hatched after Day 14.
I had spent the past four nights monitoring the eggs and parents as their cleaning and aerating activities had really picked up.
I set up a collection kit (glass bowls, clear flexible hose and flashlight) in hopes of catching some of the larva so I could take some pictures.
Just as I was giving up on the eggs hatching, they did and I missed out on witnessing the event.
Hopefully next time I will be more patient and stay up a little longer; or adjust my lighting schedule to have the lights go out a little earlier.

Here's some better pics of the parents and eggs from Day 12.

I'll be keeping on eye on the pair to see if they decide to lay eggs again.
With the success of their location of laying this clutch, I would like to think that this will bode well for future events.  The female seems to really like having all of the available hosting corals in such a close proximity to the rock that she selected to lay the eggs.

This was definitely an enjoyable experience!

She didn't waste any time.
The very next day after the first eggs hatched, she laid her second batch.

Beautiful pair. Your tank looks awesome as well - would love to see a full tank shot. Do you have plans to capture & raise the larvae?

Thanks.  I've had the pair since 2010.
This is my latest FTS from last December.
Much more information (and many photos) can be found on my build thread with TCMAS.

I don't have any plans on raising the fry at this time; time commitment and resources.
I do want to at least catch a few of them so I can get some pictures.  Many of my family and friends that are not into aquariums are curious/oblivious to what they look like and just how small they are.

Right on schedule, the second batch off eggs hatched after 14 days.
I first noticed some larvae around 11:30PM and I was able to catch a couple with a pipette to show the family and get a couple of pictures for documentation.
