This is my first round with these guys. Is it alright to use a 10 gallon tank or would I be better off with a black tub for the Larvae?

My old friend once said in regard to this question, "you can use any tank you want, as long as it is a black round tub." On the other hand, I know someone who raises gobies in a 10 gallon glass aquarium. That said, my last good batch I did in a BRT.

Well the new couple have decided to snack on the eggs a bit. But they have left a few, and I can see eyes growing so I know they are fertile

Thank you for your help Kathy. I have everything in place. 4/2/15 I will be pulling the eggs and putting them in my black bucket. Hopefully I'll have the same luck as my occy's and raise some of the little ones.

A side thought, wherever you bought them is a good place , they obviously feed their fish well.
