Free Ghost Shrimp - Saturday, June 6, 2015 3:01 PM
My ghost shrimp are reproducing and taking over my tank. I have tons of babys and a few older ones. The babies are a little larger then an adult brine shrimp. It seems like most of them are berried too.

Lynbrook, New York.

I got them at the beach near my house. They are everywhere. I use a butterfly net from the dollar store and in 1 scoop I will get 20 or more shrimp.

I am not really looking to ship them. Shipping will cost more then just buying them. If you can't find any I will still mail them. I can't offer any guarantee on them but I will try my best. They are very cheap. You can get the freshwater ones and convert them or go to a bait shop and get them. I am not sure if you have them in Florida. If you go to a boat ramp or dock and scrape the ground and pillars you should be able to catch some shrimp.

There are two types of ghost shrimp. The typical one you see and this sand dwelling one.

Are you coming to the workshop? Could you bring a bunch? I would surely love a small group.
