2015 MBI Awards - Monday, June 15, 2015 10:50 PM
I'm getting the list together for the MBI Awards this year and could use your help. I need to have a firm count of those of you who are attending the Workshop and who have moved up from last year.

I would like to know for sure by July 10 so I have time to get them printed.

I've moved up to journeyman.
All of my work is done with the help of member altolamprologus (Heather Mutschler).  She shares all credit evenly with me for our accomplishments.

If anyone is attending for the fist time and has obtained a level status we need to know that too.

Being Mike's first time, he'd get something no matter what.  Who else has leveled up since their last attendance, or it's their first time but they have points to a level?

Isn't there (shouldn't there be) a record of who got what, and when? And who is coming?

This is my first workshop! I have made it from nonbreeder to journeyman in less than a year with all your help. MBI is awesome!

Any first timer that's on the board should be getting something based on how it works.  I think I saw the deadline JUST PASSED...but....???

I don't know how to find the info. Webmasters will be able to get this sorted.

I think it would require some dedicated software module that we don't have, because in essence, here's the task that you're setting up for yourself:

1.  Knowing who is going to be there.
2.  Knowing who has received the physical awards in the past, and for what level it was issued.
3.  Cross referencing those lists to see who is coming this time around that has gained a level since the last time they received a physical award, which basically means catching any first timer who comes with any recognized breeding ranking as well as anyone who has changed levels since the last time they got a physical award.

I had hoped this would be the year I'd break 5000 points...I still could if I just properly tracked and reported a Melanopus spawn and hatch.

Not really directly related but I would like to see a spot where I can see a list of all of each type of breeder. As far as I know there is no way to see who all else is considered a journeyman breeder for example. If there is please educate me to the location.

Yeah, I don't know who is coming until a ticket is purchased. Makes it kinda tricky. Jim has been able to find the other info pretty easily in the past.

Using the Dashboard feature you can look up individual breeders and see what level they are at but you can't use it to find all breeders at a particular level.

Well....going to 5000 points won't raise me a level...I'm going to be stuck at this level for a long time I suspect.  But..still..5K in points.  Those Cinnamons better have a nest when I get down there tonight!

I've been stuck where I am for a while. Mostly due to dealing with all of this other stuff. Such is my life. Meh
