I had a pair of A. sandarcinos that became a single when one died. Originally, my thought when buying the pair was to provide a mate for the Ms. Big Chrysopterus that I raised from a friend's eggs. Then the pair of pink skunks were so cute together and seemed to get along so well, I thought i should not break the pair apart.  Then one died, making the Leukocranos mating easier to do.
Ms. Big has killed or injured 3 potential mates so far, but she seems to love this little pink one, and there has been no hint of trouble, no need for shaking either, as the little one is probably a tenth the size of the big chrysopterus.
