| Other Information: |
Some egg strands were removed from the broodstock jar and given a 2 minute freshwater dip (tip given to me by an Inland Aq employee). Others were kept in a separate jar without being dipped. As they developed I could not see any difference between them so I moved the dipped eggs in with the non-dipped strands for hatching. Waldend said that he has never had to dip the egg strands. I assume that both hatched as they were indistinguishable under the microscope. |
