Miniatures of parents, but with very short snouts, and very little coloration. No longitudinal striping, but prominent transverse banding. Entirely pelagic. |
Fry Description: (Post Settlement) |
Miniatures of parents, but still with some transverse banding. Snouts more elongated than unsettled fry, and distinct orange color. Better definition of the "flag" tail coloration/markings. Benthic sleeping at night. |
