Culturing Vessel Details
Temperature:	Ambient room temp, 70-72 degrees ° F
PH:	Approx 8.1
Specific Gravity:	1.020
Vessel Description:	1 quart clear plastic bottles (old Gatorade bottles). Rigid airline through cap with moderate airflow.
Lighting:	13 w spiral cfl bulb
Lighting Schedule:	16 hrs on, 8 hrs off

Methodologies
Feeding Tactics/Medium:	NSW prepared in 1 gallon batch (plastic milk jug) and 1ml chlorox bleach added for sterilization. 1quart culture bottle filled 2/3 to 3/4 with culture medium, 20 drops Guillard's f/2 per bottle, and dechlorinated with 0.4ml of DFS Chlorine Neutralizer (at least 15 minutes before inoculation). Remainder of culture vessel filled with existing mature culture.
Split Cycle:	Cultures ready for split about every 7-10 days, probably depending on amount and density of innoculant.
Split Yield:	Two-thirds to 3/4 of quart.
Number of Cultures:	Presently running 3 bottles
Number of Splits:	Many since most recent startup, every 2-3 days.
Density:	Not measured
Harvest Methology:	2/3 to 3/4 of mature culture poured off for feeding, remainder used to innoculate a new sterile bottle.
Adjustments Made:	Switch from AmQuel to Drs. Foster & Smith Chlorine Neutralizer seems to have made a big difference.
