Pre-Spawn Behavior: |
Male and female spend the day of spawning intensely interested in cleaning the spawning site.

Spawning Behavior:
|
Female places rows of eggs down on tile, followed by the male fertilizing. The pair makes many passes over the course of 30 minutes or so.

|
Both fish protect the nest, with the male doing the most direct egg tending.
