Feeding Tactics/Medium:
benign neglect: I fed them once or twice a week with live phytoplankton until the water was barely tinted, and changed water once a month. It would have been better, perhaps, had I fed more and changed water more.
|
Split Cycle:
If the culture was dense, i split them once a month. If not, I didn't split, just changed water. Mostly the culture limped along, as I had no real need for the copepods.

Split Yield:
unknown. I never counted them
|
Number of Cultures:
one or two. Two would be best in my opinion

Number of Splits:<
3 or 4

Density:
unknown. I did not count them.

Harvest Methodology:
I usually used a 37 micron filter, so I could be sure to catch all the nauplii.

Adjustments Made:
I think they grew best later on when I started to culture them in a 3 gallon black plastic trash can from the dollar store with a little bit of air pumped to the bottom lightly. Then I lost interest in them and they all died.
