Feeding tonight and found both the male and female will eat LRS Fertility Frenzy. Decided to try it out for the first time tonight.

Are you there when they spawn? If so, collect some water with the eggs and swirl to mix. The male may be misdirecting and needs to get the sperm closer to the egg target.

I'm at day 6 and they larvae are doing fine. If I remember right this is halfway for them.

Day 9 and settlement has begun. I have 3 little nuggets hopping around on the bottom. And have 3 more still swimming larvae.

Congrats! what temperature are you rearing them in? 9 days seems earlier than my memory of the larval duration.

I'm on day 20 today and i have 5 golden babies hopping around feeding on Apocyclops panamensis. Kathy I keep the temp at 78 to 80 degrees F. I did feed Parvo, and S rotifers enriched with T. Iso as first foods, also the prolarvae were not fed until day 3 post hatch which was on the 24th of November, not unless i'm messing up my numbers which could also be a thing. I'm going to try to get some updated pics posted of the little guys.
