Tricinctus Trio

So, I got a trio of A. tricinctus from Todd this week. I've been wanting this species for a long time. Thanks Todd! Now my dilemma is how to house these 3 fish until they are mature enough to spawn. The largest is about 1.5" and the smallest is about 3/4". Love this shot: Anyway, all 3 are in QT right now. I'm plan on observing them over the next few weeks to see how they interact. So far I'm not seeing any major signs of aggression. I'm thinking about pairing the largest and the smallest and holding the middle one as a reserve, although this will probably slow things down. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I think I would go with the largest and smallest as a pair as well, unless you prefer the middle one cosmetically for some reason. Then the 3rd will bring up the debate of will it turn female by itself or will it wait for another fish to be added to provide a que?

It appears like the trio are going this route already. The medium sized one seems to be hanging out near the top rear of the tank and the larger one tolerates the small one more. Now, should I leave all 3 together during QT to divide any aggression between the small and medium rather than leaving the small one alone with the large one?

These fish are from two different broods from the same pair. The original pair was indeed donated to Atlantis by John Coppolino a couple of years ago. Good info.
