Spawning Details Date of First Spawn: August 29, 2011
Spawn Time of Day: 8:00am. to 9:00am.
Dates of Consecutive Spawns: Sept.13/11 133 babies, Sept.29/11 456 babies,Oct.16/11 438 babies, Nov.2/11 709 babies, Nov.18 and 19/11 43 babies and then766 babies , total 809 babies, Dec.7/11 887 babies, Dec.24/11 722 babies, Jan.10/12 145 babies and next date should be Jan.27.
Courtship Details: Every morning they meet and greet at first light, swimming side by side,trumpanting and holding tails. Very bright colors. The male spents the morning
stomach crunching,to ready his pouch with a very not in the mood female always close by. Later in the afternoon when the male is ready,he heads for the top of the tank with the female right behind. He faces the female with his pouch wide open and she deposits her eggs into his pouch which only takes seconds and then the pouch is closed and both head to the bottom of the tank and do a small dance ( shake ).

Larvae Description: 0.6 to 0.8 light in color then darker during the day. Look just like seahorses but tiny.
