Mike, you should give yourself more credit! You have raised non clown larvae, which is far beyond some breeders around could ever have done! Blennies are not especially difficult, but now that you have the know how,you can try many nice species,Meiacanthus,Ecsenius and such!

Got back from a 4 days vacation to find out I still have 4 alive at the bottom of BRT and they are big too. Before i left for vacation, All(about 20) were not doing good so i thought they were not going to make it but I was wrong.Wonder what have they been eating while i was out because their tummy is big. Caught one out to do a video.

That big die-off in posts 23 and 24 was likely metamorphosis. Congratulations on getting at least one through! Now, you have a few challenges ahead if you wish: 1) Doing other species of blenny or 2) Continuing with these and working out how to get more of them through meta (probably better foods at some point in the process). Good luck with your decision!

You can create a journal for anything. The reports you submit for points are only for events that occurred while in your possession. So for these you will get all the points except spawning. You cannot get the success icon as that takes all 4 reports successfully submitted, not just 60 DPS.

Then, when your fry grow up, pair up, and spawn you can submit that report and take the success icon.

Thanks Matt. Been neglected to this 4 fish(no waterchange for 1.5weeks) and their home had been very very dirty to this thick slime algae that covered around the side and bottom so i decided to clean it 1hr ago. Surprise.Surprise when I removed some slime algae(1/4 in the BRT), i saw 10 more swimming. LOL After saw more fish swimming, I stopped the cleaning. To me, I think they have been eating this slime algae to survive and i bet you there are more down there. Their home: Their food (slime algae).

Wonder if there were some 'pods living in the algae that the larvae were eating... Algae was creating hiding places too?
