Culturing Vessel Details Salinity: 1.020
Temperature: Ambient room temp, currently ~72F

Vessel description: 2L soda bottles
Lighting description: Ambient light from southern facing window supplemented with 2-bulb fluorescent strip light
Lighting cycle: Sunrise to sunset, strip light is on from 6PM to 9PM
Aeration description: rolling bubble from rigid airline tubing
Methodologies Split methodology: Once culture is dark enough (I don't wait until it is "chocolate brown," I split when it is more of a dark "gold" color) I harvest 2/3 of the bottle and replace with sterilized, fertilized broodstock tank water. Then changed to using sterilized freshly mixed ASW since it is easier to prepare.
Culture medium description: 1/2mL of Florida Aqua Farm's Microalgae grow per 1L of sterilized water
