Temperature:	72-74 F

Lighting:	Ambient room light. Light not relevant; this is a heterotrophic dinoflagellate, and not a photosynthetic organism.

Methodologies
Feeding Tactics/Medium:
Split Cycle:	Remove 1/4 to 1/2 daily and replace with half-strength clean, fresh, salt water.
Split Yield:	About 2 liters a day. 500 ml - 1 liter per day per culture container.
Number of Cultures:	6 right now.
Number of Splits:	Since it is split daily, then 30+ right now (10/6/2010).
Density:	Estimated at 50,000 - 100,000 cells / ml.
Harvest Methology:	Pour.
Adjustments Made:	Adjust amount harvested and amount fed in response

Other Information:	I feed 4 drops / liter of Nannochloropsis-based preserved phyto paste and 4 drops / liter of Isochrysis-based preserved phyto paste twice daily. Also, add the same number of drops of a ClorAm-X solution (12 tsp. of ClorAm-X dissolved into 1 liter of water) as the amount of algae fed at each feeding. Aerate moderately with a rigid airline reaching almost to the bottom of the container. Weekly protocol: Stop air for a few minutes and allow detritius to settle. Pour 1/2 to 3/4 of the supernatant into a fresh, clean container, and top off with fresh 1/2 strength salt water and feed. Reapply air. Harvest or discard remainder. I have been actively culturing and harvesting the current set of cultures for a little over a month right now.
