Anemones count?

So Im fairly new here and wondering if forced division of BTAs and other anemones that reproduce through division counts?

I would think that it would not. The spirit of the MBI is sexual reproduction. Some inividuals have had anemones spawn. Gear towards trying to get yours to do that and document it here.

The rules of the MBI require sexual reproduction. Things like splitting of anemones and fragging of corals does not count.

Now if you could get the anemones to spawn and raise the larvae, that would be awesome.

True, but Im happy with splitting them. Its a semi-natural method. I just thought I would see if it would count for points here. But it doesn't, and I'm fine with that too.
